300 A fully developed Pastoral Services program includes a

variety of personnel who are qualified and trained to

perform their assigned duties.

RI.1.3 The hospital demonstrates respect for the following patient needs:

RI.1.3.5 pastoral care and other spiritual services.

LD.2.4 Directors recommend a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care.

HR.2 The hospital provides an adequate number of staff members whose qualifications are consistent with job responsibilities.

trained and maintain or upgrade their skills consistent

with other healthcare professionals.
